Founder, in 1911, in Manchester England, of The School of Grecian Wisdom, which evolved in 1914 into The Order of Ancient Wisdom. Under the subsequent leadership of Frederick C. Eaton, and with the fragmentary incorporation of the Lesser Teachings (as opposed to the Greater) of The Universal Brotherhood into its teachings, the Order of Ancient Wisdom was renamed The Universal Order in 1923.
Rudolf Steiner – Philosopher
Rudolf Joseph Lorenz Steiner was an Austrian mystic, philosopher, social reformer, architect of the Goetheanum and esotericist.
Long before many of his contemporaries, Steiner came to the conclusion that western civilization would gradually bring destruction to itself and the earth if it did not begin to develop an objective understanding of the spiritual world and its interrelationship with the physical world.
